Together They Built a Life They Love
Lately Tanner and I have been so excited for what’s to come in our family. We are in this season of complete joy…it’s almost as if we are giddy little kids on Christmas morning. We have really learned how to prioritize our relationship since having kids, (which can be so difficult!), and have been working hard to be very intentional with our second most important relationships: our babies.
We have always been dreamers. We often talk about what we’d like to see in our marriage one day, where we’d like to go, what kind of home we’d like to build. To see it all coming together now seems surreal. I still remember when Tanner and I used to daydream about what our kids would look like. Would they look like me? Would they look like their daddy? What would their personalities be like? And now we have three kids! Ah those little cuties! All so different, but each so equally loved. We’ve really began to find our footing as we begin our family’s story. And I love that we have so many opportunities to make it one of love, joy, and happiness.
I’m thankful I’m married to a man who never stops dreaming with me. I’m grateful that he wants to create something beautiful together. I’m overjoyed at the life we are building.
I pray our kids always know how much their daddy and I love each other. And I hope they grow up in a home that they’re happy to be apart of. When I think of my happily ever after, it’s gathering around the table together, sitting in the living room talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Home. It’s a place everyone is glad to be. I imagine our relationships as strong because they’re grounded in Christ, and our love as endless because we truly value and care for one another. That’s what I hope for with our beautiful family. That’s my dream.
“Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find? The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.” Proverbs 20:6-7
What do you hope for in your family? I pray you always dream big. Because I believe the best is yet to come.
From my home to yours,
Tay
