Happy Monday, everyone! I feel silly writing that sentence because I haven’t met a person that is super happy when Monday comes around haha. On Sunday Tanner, Haven and I decided to visit Downtown Disney. We have been considering getting Disney passes for a few weeks now. Haven is at an age where she’s much more adventurous, so it would be nice to have a fun mid-week activity. We took her to Build-A-Bear first. She has never been there, and we were all about spoiling our little sweetie! She picked out the cutest little bunny to make. She even put the heart in the stuffing all by herself. She makes us laugh because she is SO skeptical of anyone she doesn’t know. The man who was helping her make her bunny was trying to get her to smile, and she just stared at him like he was crazy! Tanner always points out that he is proud of her for not talking to strangers. There has to be something positive from her lack of engagement, right? 🙂

Next, we took her to the Rainforest Cafe. I haven’t been to that restaurant in years. It’s such a cool place! I don’t know how a kid wouldn’t be mesmerized there. Haven was pointing at all the animals, and making the cutest faces. She is very expressive…its one of my favorite things about her. About every hour the restaurant gets dark, and it fills with sounds of a tropical storm. The (fake) animals make lots of sounds and move around. And that was the one time when Haven was terrified. I felt so bad! She crawled right off of my lap, across the table, and straight to Tanner’s arms. As sad as I was that she was scared, it was really cute to see her recognize Tanner as her protector. Apart from those few minutes, Haven had the time of her life!

We walked around the shops a bit longer after dinner, then decided to head home. Of course I asked Tanner to pick me up an iced chai tea latte from Coffee Bean before we “officially” left. I am so obsessed with that drink right now! We don’t have one in the city I live in, so if I spot a Coffee Bean, I make sure to grab one.

Family time is so important! I am so thankful for my husband, daughter, and baby #2. We actually find out the gender of our newest addition tomorrow. I am so, so, so excited! Our gender reveal isn’t until May 8, so we are going to be keeping a BIG secret for almost two whole weeks!!

(My outfit is linked above, if you’d like to shop my look.)

Thanks for stopping by!

xo, Tay
