Hello Dear Homemaker!
My name is Taylor Krabill, and I’m the author of the blog, “The Gentle Homemaker.” I am married to a wonderful, hilarious and godly man, and have four precious children. My heart for this space is to provide encouragement and inspiration for other homemakers. Many say the mother is the heart of the home, and if that is true, it is surely some big shoes to fill! I have learned that my day is only as good as the one whose strength I choose to rely on. When my heart is fixed on Jesus, I position myself to serve and love my family well. My prayer is that by a wondrous miracle, you and I might grow more into His likeness together.
There’s a quiet determination in each homemaker. There’s an unforgettable beauty in the pressing needs your hands tend to, and the care you so diligently bestow on the ones you love. The gentle disposition you display in your words is memorable. The selflessness you model when you place their needs above your own…indelible.
To live in such a way could have never been by mere happenstance. It could have only been a result of a woman whose love for Jesus has wondrously overflowed into an abundance of sincere love for her family.
I believe a godly home is a tiny glimpse of heaven on earth. And you, sweet mother, are creating something remarkably beautiful. So as you labor today, continue to labor with love, hope, and joy. Your work has not, and never will be in vain. Let us make home the loveliest place on earth.
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9
